Nekmit Leather Desk Blotter Pad Apricot

Just got an antique rosewood rolltop-type desk. We wanted to protect the writing surface, which was only 13-inches deep, but 32-inches long. The depth/width dictated the mat size. Nekmit was the only Amazon provider with a 12-inch wide/deep mat (but only available in 17-inch length)! The black leather looks good and is of good quality, but would have preferred a brown color (not available). BTW, we've ordered an other one!

Excellent! As advertised

You might think that there are hundreds of desk pads for under $50. But youĄŻd be wrong. ThereĄŻs only one, and itĄŻs this one. I first bought this desk pad 5 years ago and the surface has started to wear away so IĄŻm buying it again. I would love to try a different brand but there are no alternatives. This product stands out for its durability. It has a finished edge. It doesnĄŻt slide around on the table. ItĄŻs also 3mm thick and more rigid than youĄŻd expect. These last two characteristics are essential to prevent the edge curling problem thatĄŻs endemic to lesser desk pads. The only minor complaint I had is the Nekmit logo embossed in the upper left corner. But in the new version, itĄŻs been moved to the underside. So now itĄŻs even better.

I keep this in front of our cash register at the shop for people to sign receipts. It cleans up easy and looks great.
